64-Argentina

After the side trip it was now direction Argentina. A very different landscape.

Crossed the boarder very quickly,

...received a 90 day import permit for my bike ....and headed to Los Antiguos the first Argentinian town to change some Argentinian Pesos.

and headed to Los Antiguos the first Argentinian town to change some Argentinian Pesos. Only on bank but was enough, then continued to Perito Moreno to stay over night.

Arrived  in Rio Gallegos....having reached much further South. The weather is holding up very nice. It is -5C in the morning but the roads are dry and I wait until 10 AM to get riding, hoping the temps are little higher and no frost on the ground. The winds have been calm and further South they will increase hopefully not to much. I am warm riding that is good too. My hands when dry stay OK.

So far all is lining up good for the last stretch, Rio Gallegos-Rio Grande and then from there crossing to Ushuaia over the Garibaldi Pass. Good weather holding for now is what makes me think now I can reach my  goal.  Lets cross fingers and keep my luck running.
